“Umbrella Academy” Season 2 release date is expected to arrive on Netflix sometime in 2020. Not much is known about its plot but there’s an interesting theory going around suggesting that the Hargreeves could find themselves in some form of trouble right at the very start.
In the first season, the siblings teamed up to try to stop the apocalypse from happening, which was ironically caused by Vanya. But despite their efforts, it did not work out. “Umbrella Academy” Season 1 ended with Number Five using his time travelling powers to save himself and his siblings.
It is yet unknown where or what time they went to. However, a new theory suggests that the escape plan wouldn’t go as smoothly as planned.
When “Umbrella Academy” Season 2 arrives, there’s a possibility that the Hargreeves will have to deal with one problem they did not expect. According to ScreenRant, the sibling will be able to escape the apocalypse but might end up separated in the process.
It was already shown that Five’s power could fail at times. In addition, he has not really tried using it transporting six people simultaneously.
Thus, there’s a high risk that there might be some glitch in the Hargreeves’ escape. Each sibling will still be able to make it out alive but they won’t end up arriving at the same place but will be transported to different locations in the world.
This would be an interesting scenario as each sibling will have to deal with the situation while searching for each other. Vanya, in particular, could end up feeling even more lost and alienated, which is probably a bad thing for her and those around her.
Meanwhile, DigitalSpy reported that all of the Hargreeves kids will be back in the second season. This means that Ellen Page will be reprising her role as Vanya, Tom Hopper will be back as Luther, Robert Sheenan as Klaus, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison, Ethan Hwang will still be playing Ben, David Castañeda as Diego and Number Five will still be played by Aidan Gallagher.
But there will be new additions to “The Umbrella Academy” season 2 cast as well. Ritu Arya will join as Lila, a chameleon with rather bizarre sense of humor. Yusuf Gatewood will join as Raymond and Marin Ireland will join as Sissy.
