Travis Kelce and his brother Jason recently talked about their father meeting Taylor Swift and them being seen talking during the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos game.
Travis Kelce Shares Details About Taylor Swift Finally Meeting His Dad
Most, if not all, fans can recall that Taylor and Ed Kelce were at the game talking to each other, which appears to be the first time they were seen on camera interacting as the “All Too Well” songstress and Donna Kelce have been the two who mostly been in the limelight.
“Taylor talking to dad. You know dad, like I know dad," Travis said during a recent appearance on the “New Heights” podcast that dropped on Wednesday, per Fox News. As the Kelce brothers chuckled about the situation, Jason retorted that their father should be talking to someone like Taylor.
"This is a terrifying conversation. I felt terrible for Taylor for being in this," Travis stated. "If you see dad talking to anybody and you can’t hear what’s happening, who knows where that conversation is going,” Jason responded.
Travis added he did not want to pick on their father too much. We can’t keep kicking dad just because we enjoy doing it. Our dad is the best f---ing dad in the world. He is a great converser or conversator (sic). However, you wanna put it. It’s where Jason gets his storytelling, a lot of his charisma. We’re saying this because we like to rag on the big guy,” he said.
"It was nice because mom has been getting quite a bit of the spotlight. It was cool to see dad up there on the TV for a little bit,” Jason added. Travis also addressed the rumor that he shoved one of Taylor’s security officers out of the way.
Swifties seemed to like the thought of Travis taking command in order to safeguard Taylor, but the famous tight end denied pushing anyone out of the way. "Pushing them out of the way?… I didn’t push him. I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him. If I pushed him, he probably would’ve turned to Taze me," he stated.
Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Officially Dating?
For starters, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sparked dating rumors in September after the “Welcome to New York” hitmaker graced a handful of the Kansas City Chiefs football player’s games. Travis previously disclosed that he invited Taylor to attend one of his games while appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show” podcast, teasing that he “threw the ball in her court” after witnessing her perform at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour in July.
In October, Taylor and Travis appeared to confirm their romantic affair when they stepped out holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty. An unnamed insider told People that the pair is still in their “super, super early days” of dating but are “having fun.”
"They're just hanging out, and there's no pressure," the informant added. Although Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have kept details of their romance under wraps, the football player has mentioned the “Blank Space” hitmaker in several interviews.
