NEW YORK and WILMINGTON, N.C., Oct. 09, 2017 -- Cape City Command, LLC announced today major changes to its patented Trade Xccelerator appliance. Using multicore programming, parallel architecture, kernel by-pass for fast track packet processing, and a new programmable network processor, the Trade Xccelerator has been extensively upgraded. The core algorithms that predict the best choice session were also improved. Fresh session rankings are produced five times faster and freshness impacts the accuracy of the prediction. After two years of development and six months of laboratory and field testing, the results have been stunning – a 500% improvement in the ranking accuracy versus the previous version of the Trade Xccelerator! Customers formerly using a round robin method for session selection reported an average order ack time improvement of 86% to 93%. For customers using other internally developed software methods, the average ack improvement ranged from 29% to 48%.
The Trade Xccelerator is deployed in co-location sites, proximity hosted sites and user trading hubs where it predicts the session with the least latency for each trade. This automatic latency reduction requires a new product category, not a monitor, but rather a purpose-built appliance with mission specific hardware and software. The value proposition is faster average order acknowledgment time - improving fill rates that impact trading revenue and profit.
The predicted session ranking is continuously produced by processing predictive indicators at both the transport and the application layer. The technology continuously analyzes these indicators to predict the session with the least latency. The continuous real time analysis of both transport and application layer indicators produces an accurate, best choice session recommendation.
John Robison, Founder and CEO, said: “We are pleased to offer the upgraded Trade Xccelerator at no charge to our customers with Maintenance and Support Agreements. This upgrade is an example of our ongoing commitment to continuously research and develop improvements and innovations for the electronic trading marketplace.”
