Creative Assembly finally addressed a bug that has severely limited the Vampire Coast factions in finishing campaigns. With the latest “Total War: Warhammer 2” fix that is currently playable in the game’s beta branch, players can now raise the dead even while at sea.
Vampire Coast factions have been severely limited by a bug that prevented players from raising the dead while fighting at sea since October last year, according to PCGamesN. As a result, players had to return to dry land and raise an army there before going back to fight.
The bug made it very difficult for these factions to complete campaigns. Thankfully, Creative Assembly finally released a fix via the “Total War: Warhammer 2” update 8.3.
The fix is available in beta form at the moment. As explained by the forums, players simply need to right-click “Total War: Warhammer 2” from the Steam library then select properties before clicking on the Beta tab. From the drop-down menu, choose 8.3 and wait for the game to update itself.
The 8.3 “Total War: Warhammer 2” update addresses several known issues of the game. Aside from the raising dead at sea issue, the update also fixed the bug that limited the number of mods a gamer can user.
The new update likewise fixed the issue that limited AI factions to recruiting a single army. In addition, the “Total War: Warhammer 2” patch corrected the experience miscalculations previously observed when leveling up during battles.
Meanwhile, Creative Assembly likewise released the 1.4.1 hotfix patch for “Total War: Three Kingdoms,” according to GameSpot. The hotfix patch will address various known issues of the game.
For instance, Cao Song has been given a personality makeover. With the fix, he would longer be identified as an Incompetent Leader.
The issue where generals and heroes are not at full strength when spawned has been fixed by the patch. In addition, Guo Jia’s spawning age has been fixed while Zhang Fei and Guan Yu would no longer spawn twice in Lui Bei’s campaign. The “Total War: Three Kingdoms” patch also addressed the issue of crashes when saving the game.
