“This Is Us” season 3 episode 6 is coming up and before it actually airs, getting to know a bit of spoiler will allow the viewers to understand the story more. So, below are some points to take note of and things to expect when the next chapter arrives.
“This Is Us” season 3 episode 6 is titled “Gold Star” but it also has another version, “Kamsahamnida” (감사합니다), which means “thank you” in the Korean language. As per Spoilers Guide, its synopsis reads: “Struggling with Toby's depression, Kate seeks Rebecca's advice; Randall makes time for Kevin, who obsesses about Jack's past.”
It is not sure how the Korean title is related to “This Is Us” season 3 episode 6’s story but it probably has something to do with Jack while he was still in Vietnam. Now, what are the other things to expect in the upcoming episode?
Fans will see more stories about Toby. There will be more backstory on his life where the viewers will witness how he became the person he is today. His dark secrets will also be revealed and this may have a connection to his current episodes of depression.
Moreover, as shown in the “This Is Us” season 3 episode 6 trailer, there will be a flashback to the time when Toby and Kate were still trying to get pregnant via an IVF procedure. His wife was also telling him that the doctors want him to take his meds again but Toby did not look interested.
The highlight of “This Is Us” season 3 episode 6 is probably the secrets that Kevin (Justin Hartley) will uncover as he digs deeper into his father’s (Jack Pearson) life in Vietnam. His dad’s old pal named Robinson shows him a picture where Jack is with a Vietnamese woman. What catches his attention is the necklace that the lady is wearing.
It is the same piece of jewelry that he treasures because it was his father’s. He lost it once in season 2 and now learned that the original owner of the necklace may not be Jack but the woman in the photo. The question now is, who is she?
Lastly, the show’s executive producer, Elizabeth Berger, dropped major spoilers about “This Is Us” season 3 episode 6. In her interview with Entertainment Weekly, she shared, “I love episode 6. It has a really great throwback feel to it, because we’re back with our 11-year-olds, and it’s really nice to do a past story with Jack, and to see the whole family together.”
