“This Is Us” season 3 will solve many mysteries and this means that the viewers will get answers to burning questions left hanging in the series' last installment. For instance, will Jack return? How exactly did he die? Is Beth alive? These are just some of the things that will be solved in the upcoming episodes of the hit show.
Spoilers
“This Is Us” season 3 will have many memorable moments and fans will surely be absorbed as they watch the scenes. As said before, many things will be revealed and this will be done through flashbacks, so viewers can expect to see young people in their older versions and old people in their younger selves.
Moreover, “This Is Us” season 3 will focus on Jack. His life when he was still in his 20s is going to be explored. Thus, one of the flashbacks will take place during the Vietnam War.
Speaking to People, lead actor Milo Ventimiglia said, “We’re definitely going to see Jack in the Vietnam era. We’re going to explore that side of Jack’s 20s and what brought him into the man that we all knew.”
He added that Jack and Rebecca’s courtship will also be one of the highlights during the flashback episodes.
“This Is Us” season 3 will also show that Beth is alive. Susan Kelechi Watson, who plays Beth, spoke to Deadline and shared that “there are no plans to kill Beth off.”
“It’s just so lovely. I was so surprised by it, of course grateful for it, and didn’t expect it,” she said. With that detail, it is clear that season 3 will feature Beth’s backstory too.
Air Date and Episodes
“This Is Us” season 3 will have around 18 episodes just like the second installment. Filming for the show already started in June and it was confirmed that it will premiere on Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
