“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Aug. 29 are here and they promise suspenseful noontime drama. Based on the previews, it will be chaotic in Genoa City as lots of unfortunate events have occurred in the past weeks.
The CBS soap teased that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) may finally confess about her one-night stand with Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Billy (Jason Thompson) might just express a strong negative reaction to this surprising affair. Elsewhere, Devon will be edgy following the death of his wife and child while Victoria will keep her guard up after realizing she was somehow being stalked.
Devon Mourns
Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) is still mourning the death of Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan), his wife, and their child and there are people who want to comfort him and they include his adoptive father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). However, it appears that he does not want him to be consoled.
As he mourns, there is the question of whether he will really send his sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), to prison for the death of his family. Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) both attempted to convince him to forgive Lily by saying that sending her behind bars will not bring back his wife and baby, but apparently, this advice was no use as Devon chose to stand his ground.
As everyone else does not seem to be coming through with Devon, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) steps in as he assumed Devon would listen to him. He also sincerely wants to console him so he approached the new widower.
As per Soap Hub, Victor will try to keep the peace in Genoa, so when he bumped into Devon, he sat him down and offered a few words of encouragement and wisdom. His talk was all about resolving his conflict with the Winters family and how he should go about it.
Victoria’s Stalker
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers further teased that a newcomer, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), has entered the picture and his appearance could be bad news to the women involved in J.T.’s case. It can be recalled that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) might have killed him while trying to protect Victoria and Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) helped them cover up the crime. They got away with, at least that is what they thought.
Victoria realized that she has been seeing Rey often lately and grew suspicious when the women learned that the newcomer had already questioned each one of them. Is Rey getting closer to uncovering the crime? Now, they have to be careful around him.
