“The Walking Dead” getting a movie trilogy made about it is one of the biggest surprise announcements regarding the show for a long time. The fact that this project is one of the reasons for Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) departure has caught many fans off-guard. Since the cat is now out of the bag, the actors are a little less miserly about the details. Will the answer to the A & B mystery be found in the movies?
Speaking recently to KTLA 5 Morning News, actress Pollyanna McIntosh who plays Anne in “The Walking Dead” confirms that she will be in the movie. This makes sense since she was with Rick in the helicopter after the series protagonist blew up a bridge in order to stop a horde of Walkers. However, it helps to have concrete details on this point since it gives fans something to work with when speculating about the movies’ premise.
On that note, it’s not as if there are absolutely no details about the upcoming “The Walking Dead” movies. As Comic Book notes, the first film in the trilogy will focus largely on the mysteries surrounding the helicopter group that has been transporting people at the behest of Anne. These folks are branded as either an A or a B, which remains a mystery even now.
When she was trying to negotiate the rescue of Rick, for example, Anne spoke to other person or persons over the radio while saying that he was a B. Based on who have been classified as A or B in the TV series of “The Walking Dead,” it can be inferred that being a B is a good thing. In contrast, being classified as an A might lead to unfortunate results, but this has yet to be officially confirmed.
