“The Promised Neverland” season 2 has been confirmed but it will not be released until next year. However, anime fans who cannot wait to know what will happen next to Emma, Ray, and the others there are many clues available online.
Emma and Ray have successfully led a group of orphans out of the Grace Field House and this is where “The Promised Neverland” season 2 will pick up from. Fans who have seen the season 1 finale might have noticed that the escapees landed in a forest. This is a piece of vital information because a great deal of the upcoming episodes will most likely be set in a forest where the children are going to face a new set of horror and danger.
Based on the flow of the anime’s first season, “The Promised Neverland” season 2 will be adapted from the Promised Forest arc. Fans must remember that this is the first time any of these orphans have wandered in the outside world. So placing them in an enchanted forest with unknown and potentially dangerous creatures increases the number of dilemmas that the protagonists have to face.
At the start of “The Promised Neverland” season 2, the group of escapees led by Emma and Ray will start exploring the forest where they landed. And it will not take long before the first problem comes up — some of their siblings will mysteriously disappear. Meanwhile, Emma, Ray, and two of their siblings are going to get trapped into an abyss.
These are just the beginning of many obstacles the escapees will be facing in the mysterious forest in “The Promised Neverland” season 2. On a positive note, Emma will save the day by recalling some of these creatures and places from books she has read and brought with her.
“The Promised Neverland” season 2, which will air sometime in 2020, will also answer what will happen to the younger orphans that needed to be left in the Grace Field House. And aside from the haunted forest, Emma’s group is also being chased by the demons that are extremely unhappy about their escape.
