FREMONT, Ohio, Aug. 09, 2017 -- Iowa sauerkraut fans have flocked to Lisbon, Iowa for 108 years, just four years shy of the introduction of Frank’s Kraut to the market, in 1905. In a fitting union of two multi generations family favorites, Frank’s Kraut is again the premier sponsor of one of the legendary sauerkraut festivals in the Midwest: the Lisbon Sauerkraut Days.
The Lisbon Sauerkraut Days features a carnival, bands, bingo, bathtub races, dances, and a full slate of family friendly fun, all wrapped around the theme of sauerkraut. The Sauerkraut Days run from August 10-12, in Lisbon, Iowa. For more information: http://sauerkrautdays.com/
“The Lisbon Sauerkraut Days Festival has been celebrating family, community and kraut for over 100 years! Frank's Kraut is the key component to our event's success—we couldn't have Sauerkraut Days without it! Families visit annually for a taste of Frank's Kraut while listening to the bands, checking out the car show, watching our bathtub races...we even toss individual Frank's Kraut packets off our float in the parade! We LOVE Frank's Kraut,” says Megan Dietsch - Lisbon Sauerkraut Days planning committee.
