‘The Fosters’ season 4’s episode 12, titled “Dream A Little Dream,” is set to follow Jesus as he stays in a comatose state while in the hospital. He then experiences a nightmare about Mariana. Meanwhile, Jesus’ twin sister returns to Mat for comfort.
The synopsis for “Dream A Little Dream” posted on TV Guide reads, “Jesus (Noah Centineo) has a nightmare that he's unable to save Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) while he's unconscious at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) learn that Callie (Maia Mitchell) is in legal trouble; Mariana seeks comfort from Mat (Jordan Rodrigues); and Brandon (David Lambert) tries to hold the family together.”
In the previous episode, Jesus underwent a life-saving surgery after he was diagnosed with severe traumatic injury and swelling in the brain. It seems that Jesus would stay comatose while his parents Stef and Lena stay by his side until he finally wakes up. He then experiences a nightmare where he is unable to save his twin sister Mariana.
The promo hints at Jesus’ critical condition as he struggles to get back to the real world. One scene shows Jesus fighting for his life as his vital statistics begin to destabilize.
Meanwhile, Mariana will be drawn back to Mat, who she left in favor of Nick (Louis Hunter). According to Cartermatt, it remains unknown at this point whether Mat would welcome her back into his life after she betrayed him. They were supposed to get back together before Nick began to exhibit odd behavior.
‘The Fosters’ season 4’s episode 12, titled “Dream A Little Dream,” is scheduled to air on February 7, 2017 on Freeform. It was directed by Rob Morrow and written by Joanna Johnson. It will be followed by episode 13, titled "Cruel and Unusual," scheduled for February 14.
The drama television series follows the lives of a same sex couple and their multi-ethnic blended family. It was created by Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg and premiered on June 2013.
