“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 14 will be a bit creepy to watch because something seems to be not right while the digging continues in the assumed Money Pit. Marty and Rick Lagina, together with their crew, has to explore a sinkhole and what could they find there?
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 14 has been titled “Voyage to the Bottom of the Cenote” and as it suggests, the team will go deeper to see where the cenote will lead them. It is interesting to see what they will find at the bottom but it seems that their exploration is not going to be easy.
As shared by History, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 14’s synopsis reads: “A frightening development at the Money Pit threatens to halt the search indefinitely.” Indeed, the search in the cenote is difficult and based on the summary, the team encountered something that they might stop the digging at the sinkhole, at least for a while, as they fix the issue.
While it was not mentioned what the “frightening development” is, it could be a lot of things. Perhaps, the cenote is caving in or they might have discovered something dangerous down there.
Or, it is also possible that it is an eerie thing. Monsters and Critics mentioned that the on “Drilling Down” talked with visited “The Curse of Oak Island” location and talked with Rick and Marty Lagina and their team to find out if the fabled “curse” that is supposedly hounding the island is true.
Matty Blake, the host of the “The Curse of Oak Island” after-show, asked if there are truly some unexplained or spooky events in the vicinity. Has any of the crew experience something unusual or have they felt any force that seems to be stopping them from locating the treasures believed to be buried in the Money Pit?
There is also the legend that says the island must claim a seventh person before the treasures are found and so far, there have been six deaths since the hunt for the riches began in the early 1800s. All the deaths were related to the hunt and some of them died while digging or from a collapsing shaft.
Ghosts were also said to be haunting the oak island and in fact, some of the staff of “The Curse of Oak Island” had felt them before. They said they could not explain it but it was an eerie experience and Rick Lagina had one of those hair-raising moments too.
Now, could the team be facing the “curse” that they might have to stop the works for the meantime as described in the “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 14’s synopsis? Rick Lagina said that the curse had not ruined everyone’s life so it is likely that they will continue regardless of the jinx, if it is true.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 14 is set to air on Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. on History Channel.
