“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is surely on its way back to the small screen as various activities have been going on around the Money Pit. The team started digging again and it is even possible that they could have unearthed some significant artifacts already.
A convoy of trucks that apparently moving heavy machines such as a crane has been spotted on Oak Island and this was hard evidence that filming for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is in progress. Production crews with hand and drone cameras were in the vicinity as well.
Looks like a busy day!

Karen Publicover, a local resident who lives across the causeway that leads to the island, has been constantly updating her The Other Side of The Causeway Facebook page for information about Rick and Marty Lagina’s popular show on History.
The informer also said that filming has been going on a daily basis and more equipment was being sent to the location regularly. She said that with all the pieces of machinery being shipped, the traffic was much higher compared to any other year.
To date, she saw a number of excavators, air compressors, bulldozers, cranes and more. In her latest post dated just a little over a week ago, she wrote, “Still working hard in Smith’s Cove! First time I have seen any activity at the swamp. Filming there yesterday.”
Karen also attached several photos to give fans of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 a glimpse of what is happening at the moment. Her posts were like behind-the-scenes images and fans are really thankful for her efforts in sharing information about the show.

As previously mentioned by EconoTimes, Rick and Marty Lagina have already dug up some significant items, including a medieval cross that they suspect belonged to a Knight Templar, a gemstone brooch, pottery, a parchment, and bookbinding stuff.
While “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is now confirmed, its air date is still unclear as History has not set the show’s schedule yet. There is no word from the Lagina brothers as well, but if filming has begun then it is possible that it will arrive before the year ends.
