“The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 16 is finally here after the series took a short break early this month. The sitcom is reaching its end since this has been confirmed to be the final season as the show has to say goodbye already.
At any rate, “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 16 is called “The D & D Vortex” and as per CBS, its plot summary reads: “When the gang finds out Wil Wheaton hosts a celebrity Dungeons and Dragons game involving William Shatner, Joe Manganiello, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kevin Smith, deception and betrayal are the paths to make it to the one open seat.”
As indicated, the gang will resort to deception just o make it to the celebrity game. Just reading the description is enough to give the idea that it will be one super hilarious episode.
“The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 16 will feature Kevin Sussman (Stuart), Wil Wheaton (himself), Kevin Smith (himself) as recurring cast while William Shatner (himself), Joe Manganiello (himself), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (himself) will be the episode’s main guests. The story was written by Maria Ferrari, Steve Holland, and Anthony Del Broccolo, and Mark Cendrowski directs.
Meanwhile, talking about the finale of “The Big Bang Theory,” Kayley Cuoco (Penny Hofstadter) admitted that she’s heartbroken especially that there are just a few more episodes left before their show go off-air.
"I am, like, already losing it,” she said. “These last few episodes have been really heartbreaking.”
Chuck Lorre, “The Big Bang Theory” co-creator added that for his part, he feels that they were given the opportunity to exit well. “This feels like a wonderful way to take a bow and go before they start throwing fruit," he said.
In a joint statement issued by CBS, Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros Television, they thanked the fans of “The Big Bang Theory” and formally announce the series’ ending.
“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past 12 seasons,” they stated. “We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and the series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”
Finally, “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 16 is set to air on Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. on CBS Network. See the preview below:
