‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 17, titled “The Comic-Con Conundrum,” will follow the boys preparing for their annual trip to the iconic convention. Sheldon will try to convince Amy to go while Raj has some financial trouble and may possibly be left behind.
The brief synopsis for “The Comic-Con Conundrum” posted on TV Buzer reads, “The guys' annual trip to Comic Con is in doubt when Raj (Kunal Nayyar) can't afford to go.”
The promo opens to Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) sitting around in the kitchen with some white wine. Amy then expresses her surprise at Penny’s decision to go with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and the rest of the boys for their traditional trip to Comic-Con.
Penny asks, “Do you wanna come?” Amy replies, “I already live in a place all the nerds come to.” It seems that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) will have to do some heavy convincing to get his girlfriend to join them at the convention.
The next scene shows Amy insisting that she would rather sit out the trip. Sheldon remains persistent and uses his charm to try and convince her. He coyly says, “Well maybe what’s in my pants will change your mind.”
Amy turns around slowly to face her boyfriend following his innuendo but Sheldon holds up a piece of paper and says, “It’s a list of this year’s panelists!” According to Cartermatt, it remains to be known whether Amy will end up heading to Comic-Con with Penny, Sheldon, and the rest of the gang.
Meanwhile, Raj is set to get a storyline of his own. It seems that he won’t be able to afford to go on the trip. It remains unknown whether his friends would go without him or if they will end up staying to support him.
After relying on his parents financially for so long, Raj’s allowance was eventually cut. In the previous episode, titled "The Allowance Evaporation," Raj’s father stopped attempting to find him a wife since he couldn’t really provide for anything or anyone.
Raj’s friends also made him realize that he was spoiled. Howard (Simon Helberg) and Leonard encouraged him to change up his lifestyle based on his salary. He then decided that he get rid of some luxuries as well as stop taking money from his parents.
‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 17, titled “The Comic-Con Conundrum,” is scheduled to be released on CBS' on February 23, 2017.
