‘The Bachelorette’ season 12’s episode 8 will follow Jojo and her four remaining hopefuls as they take her around on dates in their respective hometowns. Drama is set to unfold in the episode’s rose ceremony after Jojo is confronted with a surprise confession from one of the suitors.
The synopsis posted on TV Guide stated, “JoJo goes on hometown dates with the four remaining bachelors. First, she visits a family who has been affected by divorce. Next, she visits a suitor's high school and learns he's not as confident as he seems. Gossip surrounds one guy; and one bachelor takes her to an old-fashioned barbecue. At the rose ceremony, JoJo is blindsided by a surprise confession from one of the men.”
It is suggested that more drama will unfold as Joelle “Jojo” Fletcher discovers more about her four eager hopefuls. According to Christian Times, Jojo will visit each of the men’s hometowns as she gets better acquainted with them as well as their families.
For one, Jojo finds out that one of the bachelors comes from a broken family and learned more about how he and his family coped with the devastation. She is also taken to another suitor’s high school where she realizes that he is not the confident man that he is trying to portray. The two eventually bond better after the unnamed suitor reveals another side of himself.
The most interesting piece of information taken from the synopsis would be for the seemingly dramatic rose ceremony where Jojo is confronted with a shocking new revelation from one of the guys.
According to Blasting News, it was revealed that the four remaining bachelors vying for Jojo’s heart are Chase McNary, Robby Hayes, Luke Pell, and Jordan Rodgers. Chase takes Jojo home to Castle Rock, Colorado while Robby shows her St. Augustine, Florida. Luke brings her to Burnet, Texas while Jordan tours her around Chico, California.
‘The Bachelorette’ season 12’s episode 8 is scheduled to premiere on ABC on July 18, 2016.
