“That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 9 is where the story of this anime is expected to really pick up, with the main character finally going up against a serious enemy. Although the encounter is not going to be for a while, it will still pose the greatest danger to Rimuru Tempest, so far. His meeting with this new foe will also be fueled by his meeting of his fated person.
In the previous episode of the anime, fans were treated to a touching farewell between everyone’s beloved slime and a tragic hero. While it was done in a rather round-about way, the prophecy of them being together forever has at least come true. This has started a cascade of events that the developments in “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 9 will only fuel.
Basically, there will be an approaching calamity that is intent on invading the forest that the protagonist calls his home. This comes in the form of an army of orcs that is driven by mad hunger and lust for power. At the head of this army is something called an “orc disaster,” which makes it close to becoming a demon lord. “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 9 is where its approach will become known.
In case it hasn’t become clear yet, this “orc disaster” poses the greatest danger to Rimuru who has so far got by with the power that he obtained from Veldora. It certainly will not be the last, but “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 9 does present quite the interesting development for the character.
After all, up until now, he has shown no signs of wanting to become anything close to a hero. “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 9 will likely change that when it airs on Nov. 27.
