Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken.Phalanx Plays/YouTube

The previous episode of “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” was a thrilling experience and a heartwarming installment to this wonderful anime. It gave viewers a glimpse into the future of the world that the main character is trying to build. However, this world might be in danger when the strongest demon lord comes to pay a visit in “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 16.

As TheAnimeScrolls notes in its recent coverage of the anime’s previous episode, “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” has established “The Jura Forest Alliance” with other species. Later on in the segment, the “Jura Tempest Federation” was born after Rimuru met with King Dwargon and his city was recognized as its own country. This same country will catch the interest of Demon Lord Milim in “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 16.

For some context on how the story has been developing, so far, the last few episodes basically dealt with a calamity because one demon lord was trying to give birth to a new one. This resulted in Geld, whom Rimuru devoured and thus interrupted the plans of the said demon lord. In “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 16, there will be a meeting that hosts these powerful beings.

One of them will be Milim, who is considered to be the strongest demon lord in existence. Rimuru’s strength will basically catch her interest after footage of the slime’s fight against the orc disaster is shown in the meeting. This then leads to the powerful entity visit the monster community in “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 16.

As it turns out, however, this will lead to one of the most interesting developments in the anime, so far. This makes “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 16 worth looking out for when it airs on Jan. 22.
