Tesla Reaches 400 Superchargers in Hong Kong
Tesla honored the construction of its 400th Supercharger stall with a special wrap and a spotlight on the city of Hong Kong.
Adding a photo of the newly wrapped charging post, Tesla's Charging account on X stated on Friday that they are erecting the 400th Supercharging stall in Hong Kong. Underneath the wording that reads "400th Supercharger in Hong Kong," there is a unique graphic that showcases the distinctive skyline of the city.
80th Tesla Supercharger in Xibaocheng
Located in Xibaocheng, this Supercharger station is the 80th for Tesla in Hong Kong. Not only that, but the V4 charging station debuted at the same time as Hong Kong celebrates its 10-year Supercharger milestone, as the company mentions in the post.
Per Teslarati, whenever Tesla reaches a significant milestone in a country or throughout the globe, the firm regularly decorates its charging stations with festive wraps, and this stall is no exception.
For instance, in celebration of reaching 2,000 charging booths in Norway last month, Tesla erected a stall adorned with the Norwegian flag. For its 500th Supercharging station, which it unveiled in March, Tesla also adorned it with the Danish flag.
Among these celebratory wraps, the one that Tesla released of its 50,000th Supercharger stall in Ultra Red and introduced as a kind of scavenger hunt for owners to discover the new site's location is maybe the most infamous. After just a few days of searching, Tesla drivers finally found the Supercharging stall in Roseville, California.
First V4 Supercharger in Asia Arrives in Hong Kong
Located on Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island at the Lee Garden One hub, the first V4 Supercharger in Asia was installed by Tesla in October.
While the majority of outlets only offer V3 charging speeds, Tesla has begun experimenting with quicker rates in the United States as part of its gradual rollout of next-gen technology in various markets.
