Tesla owners rejoice as Chevrolet rolls out an unprecedented $4,000 discount on the 2024 Blazer EV, open to Tesla drivers and a quirky list of EV owners. The electric vehicle market got more enticing with incentives stacking up, including a Costco Auto offer.
Unlocking Discounts: Chevrolet's Unique Offer Extends to Tesla Drivers and More EV Owners
Chevrolet's conquest bonus cash incentive does not require a trade-in and may be passed to household members, which is excellent, per Electrek.
The $4,000 discount applies to both 2024 Chevy Blazer EV leases and purchases, and CarsDirect says it may be combined with other offers, such as the $7,500 tax credit and the $1,000 Costco member-only incentive.
Chevy also provides a $2,500 EV Loyalty Cash Allowance to current owners or lessees of a 2017 or newer Chevrolet Bolt or Bolt EUV.
This amounts to a significant price decrease for an EV with a base price in the mid-$50 range.
But this is when things get a little strange. According to a source, Tesla is on the list of EVs you or your family can drive to qualify for the $4,000 discount. Lucid, Rivian, and Fisker are also involved.
According to CarsDirect, the Honda Fit EV meets the requirements; however, the Hyundai IONIQ Electric does not. The $4,000 deal is also only available in what appears to be a somewhat random set of cities:
- Albuquerque
- Birmingham, Alabama
- Charleston, West Virginia
- Charlotte
- Chicago
- Dallas
- El Paso, Texas
- Greensboro, North Carolina
- Greenville, South Carolina
- Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
- Huntsville, Alabama
- Jacksonville
- Little Rock
- Mobile, Alabama
- Norfolk, Virginia
- Orlando
- Richmond, Virginia
- San Antonio, Texas
- San Francisco
- Savannah, Georgia
- Tampa
- Washington, D.C.
According to the source, a road trip may be necessary if you want this bargain but only live in some of the cities above. (People in Atlanta and Santa Fe, take note.)
If that's not doable, you're still in options. If you wish to lease, Chevy is providing $3,250 in lease cash for the Blazer EV in other parts of the United States, which is available to everyone, regardless of what you or your household members drive.
The $4,000 conquest bonus cash package is available between May 1 and June 3, 2024.
