Tesla Cybertruck dazzled the audience at Top Marques as Prince Albert II took it for an exclusive test drive, making Monaco the stage for its European debut.
Tesla Cybertruck's Star Turn in Monaco
According to The Monaco Tribune, the renowned Top Marques supercar event will feature the Tesla Cybertruck. The electric pickup truck will be on display until Thursday, June 6, when it will resume its current European tour.
In order to mark the occasion of the Cybertruck's arrival in Monaco, the vehicle was presented to the public in front of the Place du Casino.
Royal Test Drive Around Monaco
Accompanied by Mathieu Lenglin, director of Tesla France, and Emeric Garcia, director of Top Marques, Prince Albert II, a key figure in the event, took a brief spin around the Principality in the futuristic vehicle. This marked the launch of the 2024 edition of Top Marques and the beginning of a tour that will span 100 cities across Europe, adding to the significance of the event.
Additionally, Monaco Life shares that Prince Albert was the first person in Europe to take the new Cybertruck for an official test drive.
Prince Albert’s Positive Feedback
As he drove through the streets of the Principality in the massive all-electric pickup truck, Prince Albert II could be seen smiling, as reported by Teslarati. Prince Albert II appeared to have little trouble adjusting to the Cybertruck's steer-by-wire system, and the social media post from the Top Marques supercar exhibition suggested that the Sovereign enjoyed his test drive.
“The test drive went very well. It felt incredible because you don’t feel the weight of this big pick-up at all; it’s still very manoeuvrable and easy to drive,” said Garcia. “Prince Albert II seemed delighted to drive the Cybertruck and was very interested, asking lots of technical questions. I think he would even have liked to drive it for several kilometres!”
