HAMILTON, Bermuda, Aug. 01, 2017 -- Syncora Holdings Ltd. (the "Company") announced that at today's Annual General Meeting, shareholders elected the following five Directors to the Board of Directors of the Company: Frederick Arnold and Alan J. Carr – each to serve as a Class I Director and hold office until 2019; Robert Mills – to serve as a Class II Director and hold office until 2019; and Frederick B. Hnat and Coleman D. Ross – each to serve as a Class II Director and hold office until 2020.
Shareholders also supported the Board's recommendation and ratified the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Company's independent accountants and to the referral of the remuneration of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Pursuant to the Bermuda Companies Act 1981 and the Company's amended and restated bye-laws, the Company also presented its audited consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2016. These statements are available on the Company's website, www.syncora.com.
