Kirito has been called by many critics a boring, dull character who does absolutely nothing interesting because he is protected by plot armor. In “Sword Art Online” Season 3, this changed a bit by actually making him work for all of his victories, but he still keeps winning. This will be the case in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 16, as well, where he will beat someone who is supposed to be beyond him.
As TheAnimeScrolls reports, Kirito’s fight with Fanatio is going to end exactly as anyone who has ever watched a “Sword Art Online” battle would expect. Kirito will win, but he will at least have the decency to be half dead as a result. The fight in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 16 is a good example of how plot armor just can’t leave the protagonist alone.
Of course, this isn’t to say that Kirito is alone in this, but he is one of the most famous characters to really bring plot armor to the fore. In any case, this is how he will emerge victorious in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 16 and Eugeo will then help him recover by giving his life force to his friend. Afterward, the pair will help the two girls who victimized them recover, but their weapons will be disposed of appropriately.
As the clip below also shows, “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 16 is where Eugeo will finally be able to face Alice in a setting where they might be able to talk to each other more openly. Fans should expect that this is not going to end well with the golden-haired knight not having any memory of her friend. From there, it can be assumed that Jan. 27 will see Kirito and Eugeo being forced to fight Alice.
