Alice continues to care for Kirito, who also lost an arm, and they appear to be in danger because a huge incident happened in the village.
“Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 2 has been titled “Attack,” and based on the preview, Rulid Village has been invaded by dark forces as goblins and orcs took over and starts wreaking havoc. The villagers tried to defend themselves and fight the enemies, but they were too many to handle.
What will happen next?
Despite being outnumbered and apparently weaker than their attackers, the head of the village ordered everyone to hold their ground in “Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 2. They can’t escape anymore since the enemies have surrounded their village already, so they were just waiting to die.
But then, help arrives as Alice suddenly walked in the midst of the frightened villagers. Apparently, she is ready to fight and will be facing the goblins who are destroying the once quiet place they are living in. It is yet to see how she will fight them and what will happen to the enemies and the village.

As per Comic Book, the anime’s season 3 is set to run for 23 episodes, but these will be break off into two cours. Thus, there will be a break, but it was not mentioned how many episodes are going to be released in the first half. “Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” season 3B is likely to be released in 2020.
