Suri Cruise is supposedly going to spend her Christmas with Tom Cruise as the “Mission Impossible” alum wants to reunite with his 12-year-old daughter. According to Star (via Gossip Cop), the actor is trying to reunite with Suri Cruise this holiday season and Katie Holmes is upset about the timing.
“Katie’s absolutely panicking over the fact that she may lose Suri [Cruise] for the holidays. Tom’s been completely absent from Suri’s life for years. She has no idea why he’s walking back in now – especially since he knows how important Christmas is to Katie,” an insider supposedly told the magazine.
The outlet further contends that this reunion is being pushed by the Church of Scientology in order to stave off the negative narrative surrounding the organization. It goes without saying that this claim is nothing more than another fabricated story concocted by the publication. It’s a well-established fact that Tom Cruise isn’t keen on returning to his daughter’s life and the alleged reason for that is his involvement with the Church of Scientology. Apparently, the organization has branded Katie Holmes as a Suppressive Person (SP) and any contact with her – or Suri Cruise – is strictly forbidden.
In fact, the last time that Tom Cruise was seen with the 12-year-old was back in 2013, a year after his divorce with Katie Holmes was finalized. This is despite the fact that the actor is allowed to visit Suri Cruise for 10 days each month as stated in the custody agreement signed by the ex-couple.
So why would Tom Cruise return to Suri Cruise’s life now? His loyalty to the organization is as concrete as ever and there’s no indication that the “Jack Reacher” actor will be parting ways with the Church of Scientology anytime soon. After all, the A-list actor has time and again thanked Scientology for helping him achieve where he stands today and for aiding him to overcome his dyslexia.
