Suri Cruise has been trending last week as rumors circulated that she’s been constantly contacting her father, Tom Cruise, to ask him to visit her. Tom apparently cracked and said he’s going to return his daughter’s life.
Reports claim that he even went as far as to say that he’s willing to leave Scientology if higher authorities of the church forbid him to visit Suri Cruise. Tom Cruise hasn’t seen his daughter for years as his breakup with Katie Holmes went sour.
Allegedly, the Church of Scientology has been a huge part of the split as Katie Holmes didn’t want her daughter anywhere near the influence of the organization. This reportedly caused the church to label Katie as a “Suppressive Person” (SP), an individual who has antisocial personalities, as described by the organization itself. As Suri Cruise is the daughter of an SP, Tom has allegedly been forbidden to see his 12-year-old child.
The latest sighting of Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise was in Manhattan last Tuesday where the two went shopping for affordable clothing at Gap, Daily Mail reported. Photos show Katie hugging her look-alike daughter, showing that their relationship is solid as ever.
As for Tom Cruise, he has decided to sell his 10,000-square-foot manor house in Beverly Hills and moved to Clearwater, Florida. The two-story apartment in Florida had undergone a lot of renovation after Cruise acquired it and is located just a block away from the international headquarters of the Church of Scientology. So any reports speculating that the “Top Gun” star will be leaving the organization for Suri Cruise are most likely incorrect.
Katie Holmes is quite protective of Suri Cruise and it’s unlikely that he’s going to let Tom Cruise into their lives if the actor is still involved with the church. The “Edge of Tomorrow” actor has been involved with the organization since the late '80s after his first wife, Mimi Rogers, introduced him to it. Tom has praised the church for helping him find success in life after going through a tough childhood and credited the organization for aiding him to overcome his dyslexia.
