Beam Suntory added two new ready-to-drink cocktails featuring a bourbon base in its Jim Beam offering in the US.
The Jim Beam Ginger Highball combines bourbon with ginger ale while its Jim Beam Classic Highball pairs bourbon with bubbly seltzer and a hint of citrus.
The new Jim Beam variants have a 5 percent ABV that would be offered as an alternative to beer.
According to Malini Patel, managing director for the James B. Beam Distilling Co at Beam Suntory, many drinkers get tired of beer and want something refreshing, lighter, and more balanced.
The new beverages are available in a four-pack for $9.99 or as single 355ml slender cans for $2.50.
