A lot of details about “Stranger Things” Season 3 remain a mystery even now and fans are absolutely desperate for any kind of news about the upcoming season to be released. With Netflix being quite secretive about the whole matter, fans are left to put some clues together to come up with their own answers. Regarding the main antagonists of the upcoming season, for example, it could be Russians.
If Russians will indeed play a pivotal role as enemies in the upcoming “Stranger Things” Season 3, it would certainly be timely. After all, the country is currently trying to undermine the US in a major way by meddling in its elections. Featuring them as the main enemies of the upcoming season would make for an interesting reflection of current events.
As to how anyone came to this conclusion, it was due to a post on Reddit a while ago where a user noticed something odd on the IMDb page of “Stranger Things” Season 3. The user noted how some of the names were tagged with labels like “Russian Soldier” or “Russian Goon.” The list has since been scrubbed, but the damage has already been done.
One of the biggest secrets being kept about “Stranger Things” Season 3 might have just been leaked and it might have something to do with Russians in the US. Naturally, their interest would center on Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the paranormal incidents that have been happening around her. Will the young girl actually be involved in spy warfare?
As for when “Stranger Things” Season 3 will be coming out, the exact date has not been announced, either. The best guess that anyone has right now would be summer or fall of 2019. Fans can only hope that it won’t go beyond that because that would be way too long of a wait.
