While it may be a bit controversial to say that the first two seasons of “Stranger Things” could be watched by adolescents, “Stranger Things” Season 3 might be too much for the younger crowd. At least, this seems to be the impression made by Natalia Dyer’s (Nancy) recent comments in an interview. Basically, the third season of the hugely popular Netflix original series might just be too scary.
As reported by the Independent, the actress who recently spoke with MTV revealed that she felt “Stranger Things” Season 3 is a much “darker” and “scarier” run compared to one and two. This makes sense since those who became fans since the series premiered have already grown up. As such, their immunity to fear might have gone up, as well.
“It does feel bigger, just filming it,” the actress said during the interview. “I haven’t seen any of it, but it does feel bigger, darker, scarier. It felt like they noticeably bumped it up to a different level this season.
“So I’m excited to see it, too. I don’t know how they do it, [creators] the [Duffer] brothers, but yeah, I’m excited.”

Knowing that “Stranger Things” Season 3 has upped the fear factor is a refreshing change of pace compared to the usual secrecy surrounding the upcoming season. Netflix and the folks working on the show have been quite tightlipped with regards to the story, the plot, and the characters. As a result, there are now rumors flying around that Russians are going to be involved somehow.
If this ends up being the case, “Stranger Things” Season 3 might just be the most exciting season of the show yet. Fans will be able to find out for themselves when the show returns to the streaming service on July 4. Celebrating Independence Day by binging on Eleven and the gang? Yes, please!
