Fans are waiting for “Steven Universe” season 6 and since it is taking a while for its release, everyone can focus on Rebecca Sugar’s new book first. The creator of the favorite animated show launched the book adaptation of the season 5’s finale episode titled “Change Your Mind.”
Based on the published detail on “Steven Universe” Facebook page, the synopsis for the story reads: “Once upon a time, a silly, impossible little Gem named Pink Diamond ran away from her Homeworld to the planet Earth. She transformed into Rose Quartz and gave up her existence to create a half-human child, Steven Universe. This is her story.”
Moreover, another thing to look forward to before “Steven Universe” season 6 arrives is the show’s newest soundtrack collection. When Cartoon Network released the Volume 1 soundtrack in 2017, it was a big success and fans started to clamor for more “Steven Universe” music. Thus, the TV network is launching the Volume 2 soundtrack and it is coming really soon.
As noted on Den of Geek, the “Steven Universe” Volume 2 soundtrack will be out in the market on April 12. It will be available for streaming and digital download.
The album will feature a total of 12 songs that include “Steven Universe” season 4’s popular track and title of the finale "Change Your Mind," “Sadie Killer,” "For Just One Day Let's Only Think (Love)," and the “Suspects." These are just some of the titles and the rest are expected to be unveiled in the coming days prior to the big launch on Friday.
The new “Steven Universe” soundtrack will allow fans to sing-a-long with the Crystal Gems and Steven. The album also contains the instrumental versions of at least 11 favorite tracks.
Meanwhile, Cartoon Network has yet to announce confirmed details for “Steven Universe” season 6. Although information about this upcoming installment is scarce, fans should not worry because it is surely coming.
