After the recent path breaking findings that provided evidence that liquid water flows sporadically on present-day Mars, NASA Mars Curiosity Rover has sent images that suggest that suggest “intelligent life” existed on the red planet.
The findings are interestingly being referred by some as 'Buddha-like statue' and by others as “Stunning Martian God”.
Fellow researcher Scott C waring was impressed posting on his website UFOsightingsdaily.com: "It shows a face and head turned to its right, with breasts and a plump stomach, shoulders.
"Very remarkable detail in this photo. This photo alone should be enough to convince the United Nations that intelligent life once existed on Mars, but NASA doesn't want anyone to know the truth, because they will be asked to share the info and technology that they have found."
While the images do actually show a statue-like structure it’s too early to jump the gun as it could be simply a rock formation.
Ashwin Vasavada, a scientist who works on the Mars rover project, refers to a phenomenon called pareidolia, according to which your brain recognizes a familiar object or pattern even though it's not actually there, CNN reported.
He's as hopeful as everyone else is that NASA will find evidence of intelligent life on Mars.
"There is no group that would be (happier) to see such a thing than the 500 scientists around the world who work on this Curiosity rover," he says. "So far we haven't seen anything that is so obvious that it would be similar to what these claims are."
