The leading investment and trading platform eToro released the key inferences of a survey conducted on investors’ sentiment towards crypto-assets and traditional financial institutions. Crypto-bulls seem to be taking their course of action as the institutions are taking the asset class seriously, the classic instance is that JP Morgan Chase’s announcement of its own cryptocurrency (JPM coin) in the recent past.
The key highlights of the inferences of the survey are:
- 71% of Millennials would invest in crypto if it was offered by traditional financial institutions
- 43% of Millennial online traders say they have less faith in the stock market than crypto-assets
- Half of the online investors expressed interest in a crypto allocation in their 401k plans
In a previous survey from eToro had divulged that education is the biggest obstruction for preventing online investors from purchasing cryptocurrencies. Moreover, there is a strong zeal for financial advisories to include crypto as part of investors’ long-term portfolio.
