South Korean exchange Korbit to delist Dash, Monero, Zcash, Augur, and Steem; adds Zilliqa

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Korbit has announced that it will delist Dash, Monero, Zcash, Augur, and Steem tokens from its platform.

In a blog post dated May 21, Korbit announced that it will delist the aforementioned cryptocurrencies which it offers through Other Digital Assets service.

“We will bid farewell to the Other Digital Assets service through a gradual termination of the buy and sell functions for the following coins,” Korbit said, adding that it will delist DASH, XMR, ZEC, REP, and STEEM (as translated by Bitcoin.com).

The buy functionality will be end on “May 28, 2018 after 3:00 pm” and the sell functionality on “June 21, 2018 after 3:00 pm.”

“Even if this service is terminated, XRP, BCH, LTC, etc. can continue to be traded through the exchange,” it added.

Korbit currently supports a number of cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Litecoin (LTC). More recently, it has added support for Zilliqa (ZIL).

“We strive to facilitate secure trades of more cryptocurrencies, but we have yet to determine the date for resumption of trades of the affected coins. We thus advise you to protect your interests by either selling or withdrawing the said cryptocurrencies,” Korbit said.
