Effective September 24, 2026 at 03:00 UTC, Binance has said it would remove Pax Dollar (USDP) from its spot trading platform. This action will cause all USDP spot trading pairs to be removed and any open orders to be immediately deleted at that moment. Binance Convert and tiny-balance conversion products will also take off USDP combinations or delist the stablecoin beginning September 23rd before spot trading ends.
Users will have a grace period to pull their USDP after the spot trading delisting. After September 25, 2026, at 03:00 UTC, deposits will no longer be credited. Withdrawals, however, will remain open until November 24, 2026 at 03:00 UTC, giving customers about two months to transfer their USDP off the site. Though the precise replacement asset and conversion rate are not yet assured, Binance also said a possible auto-conversion of any outstanding USDP balances into another stablecoin following November 25th.
Parallelly, adjustments are influencing USDP's importance in margin trading. On September 11, 2026, USDP will no longer be used as collateral for Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin; hence, customers must change their holdings prior to this date to avoid disturbance. Margin trading using USDP ends on September 24th, following the spot delisting schedule. Although Binance credits this to ongoing token reviews and liquidity decisions, Paxos claims USDP is still completely backed and redeemable, therefore this delisting does not affect the stability or reserves of the stablecoin. Users with USDP are advised to control their margin posture and make plans for conversion or withdrawal before the corresponding deadlines.
