Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki are officially divorced by the interest in their separation have not died down yet. Their marriage was dissolved in July after the actor filed for divorce in June. There was no hearing as the couple agreed to the terms immediately and there was no separation of assets too.

Despite the circumstances of their split, Hye Kyo and Joong Ki managed to have a “quiet” break up but they did not escape some criticisms from the public. The former was bashed more than her ex-husband and this was because she appeared to be completely “alright” after the divorce.

As Today Online reported, Song Hye Kyo came under fire after continuing with her promotional events overseas. She is a newly-divorced woman and for most Koreans, she should have withdrawn from her activities and took a break.

Most of the citizens think that it is inappropriate for someone like her to be in the public eye as soon as she breaks up with her husband. Some of the comments left for Song Hye Kyo supported Song Joong Ki’s decision to file for divorce because of the attitude and manners she showed post-divorce.

“Someone is losing their hair (Joong Ki) and having his father come up on the news, while the other is showing no sign of change and focusing on her career,” one commenter wrote while another said, “It’s good that Song Joong-ki filed for divorce.” Someone also opined that while a divorce is not a crime it is hard to imagine that the affected person can smile so easily as if nothing happened.

The actress finally starts activities in Korea

Song Joong Ki’s former wife finally made her first appearance in Korea after being absent for more than four months. According to Malay Mail, Song Hye Kyo graced the launching Chaumet jewelry brand in Korea on Oct. 21 and she looks stunning that day.

Finally, it seems that the people’s opinions about her have mellowed because the actress was warmly welcome. The write-ups were also positive with most publications describing how elegant and beautiful she looks even after the divorce from Song Joong Ki.
