Skechers USA Inc. and Snoop Dogg collaborated on the creation of a new shoe collection. The shoe brand and the America rapper just released the first sneaker design this week.
As per Hypebeast, the Skechers x Snoop Dogg Sneaker collaboration will also include multiple capsules for fans around the world. And since the rapper is known for his charisma and colorful fashion, these attributes are simply ingrained in the new collaborative shoes.
Skechers said that its partnership with Snoop Dogg will continue for some time. For starters, it will roll out three capsule collections in the coming months. The company said the products were designed with comfort as the main priority.
Each capsule will epitomize various facets of Snoop Dogg's fashion style. Thus, fans and customers can expect vibrant colors and outlandish print designs that will be integrated to provide maximum comfort.
Skechers' Snoop Dogg collection was launched on Tuesday, Aug 1. The first drop is called the "OG and Remix Capsule." It was revealed that the rapper has been "on-hand" with his partnership with the sneaker manufacturer. He spent time in the company's showroom and worked with the design team to make the capsules.
"We were already working with Snoop on the co-branded collection prior to his incredible award-winning Skechers x Snoop Dogg Super Bowl commercial earlier this year," Skechers' president, Michael Greenberg, said in a press release. "Snoop combined his eye for style and laid-back sensibility with the signature comfort of Skechers, resulting in an authentic collaboration and partnership."
Snoop Dogg also commented, "The excellent team at Skechers took my ideas and my flavor and we created this collection for all walks of life. Step yo shoe game up with my style and swag in every pair with Skechers you will be comfortable wherever you go. Wear them with a suit to a wedding or on the court with shorts, you'll look fly either way because these shoes are for everyone."
