CHICAGO, Jan. 26, 2016 -- Six Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI) physicians have been named 2016 Top Doctors by Castle Connolly in the field of reproductive endocrinology. FCI is the most awarded practice in the state and the only center to boast six physicians with a Top Doctor recognition.
Dr. Laurence Jacobs and Dr. Edward Marut have been named National Top Doctors, placing them among the top 1 percent of specialists in the country. Both were included in the recent 2016 Top Doctors edition of Chicago magazine for the field of reproductive endocrinology and have received the Top Doctor distinction numerous times in previous years.
Dr. Angeline Beltsos, Dr. Brian Kaplan, Dr. John Rapisarda and Dr. Meike Uhler were named Regional Top Doctors, placing them among the top 10-15 percent of physicians in the region.
After receiving 100,000 nominations per year, Castle Connolly Top Doctors are selected after reviewing peer nominations, extensive research and careful review and screening from a doctor-directed research team.
