Shytoshi Kusama, Shiba Inu’s vocal leader, pushed back against critics, reaffirming SHIB’s decentralized status and outlining bold plans for growth. The Ethereum-based token remains at the forefront of the crypto ecosystem, Kusama argued.
Kusama Dismisses Centralization Concerns Over Shiba Inu
Several prominent remarks were made by Shytoshi Kusama on social media platform X. Kusama is well-known in the cryptocurrency community as a prominent figure in the Shiba Inu (SHIB) token ecosystem, U.Today shares. All cryptocurrencies were discussed in the comments, but the Shiba Inu token, which was inspired by a meme, was mentioned specifically.
By saying that SHIB is completely decentralized and that all tokens are dispersed, Shytoshi Kusama once again put an end to concerns over the centralization of Shiba Inu.
Addressing Token Burn Demands
Concerning the call for additional token burns, the influencer said that the ecosystem developers' team would have to burn tokens or come up with creative ways to promote adoption if they wanted to burn tokens. “So we built a tech stack to rival everyone in this space you call an altcoin. In this way we win,” Kusama said in summary.
SHIB’s Dominance in Ethereum Highlighted
The senior SHIB media personality also mentioned how the Shiba Inu token is the best Ethereum token. Surprisingly, with a market cap of $14.68 billion, SHIB ranks first in the Ethereum world, despite its primary status as an ERC-20 token.
"They are still the number 1 eth token in the world," Kusama himself reminded us, as if we needed reminding. The "frog" meme token, which is also ERC-20 compliant, has a market cap of only $8.92 billion as of now, however this comment did elicit a response from a few PEPE fans.
PEPE vs. SHIB: The Battle for Dominance
Yet, at the moment, the trading volume for PEPE is $5.37 billion, while for SHIB it is $1.44 billion. A disparity of nearly four times that size exists. Whether you're a fan of PEPE or Shiba Inus, you get to decide which one is more proof of size and dominance.
