In a recent tweet, Lucie, a member of the Shiba Inu team, announced the much-anticipated upgrade that will signal the arrival of Web3 technology.
In an X post, Lucie announced: "Shiba Eternity Web3 is coming soon, transitioning from Web2."
Upgrading from Web2 to Web3 is a huge deal for Shiba Eternity since it means a lot of new features and enhancements are coming.
The Shiba Inu team's dedication to remaining technologically advanced is shown in their transition toward Shiba Eternity Web3.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) Web3 Gains Attention
Even though the Shiba Eternity Web3 realm hasn't even gone up yet, the announcement has garnered a lot of attention from crypto enthusiasts and Shiba Inu holders.
With the much-anticipated upgrade quickly approaching, Lucie has dropped hints about some goodies—including a welcome package—that players of Shiba Eternity might expect.
The Shiba Eternity game is offering a welcome pack full of in-game incentives to entice Web2 players to make the switch. When players accumulate enough Shiboshis, they are eligible to receive a Kibble.
Bonus Card Packs for Web2 Players
U.Today shares that an experience booster is available to returning players as well, which doubles earnings for 25 rated matches and makes it easier to ascend the rankings. The number of Web2 cards a player has (excluding legendary cards) determines the number of card packs they can receive; each pack contains five cards ranging in rarity from normal to epic.
There is no minimum staked LEASH required to participate in the closed beta, however exclusivity is still reserved for LEASH holders. In addition to early access to the game, LEASH holders are also eligible for a welcome gift.
