Hamster Kombat has announced new information about its highly anticipated airdrop, aiming to set a record with the largest crypto rewards to date.
Details Published in Telegram Mini Section
Additional information regarding the highly anticipated airdrop has been made public by the mobile clicker game Hamster Kombat, which is based on Telegram.
Players of the popular tap-to-earn game now know just how to increase the size of their airdrop. New information on the airdrop has been published in the Mini App's Telegram Mini Section.
As of August 8th, all in-game actions will contribute to increasing your airdrop point total, as stated in the revamped airdrop section of Hamster Kombat.
The six-part system for earning tokens has been revamped and now incorporates the player's passive income, completed earn tasks, achievements, recommendations for friends, and Telegram subscriptions and keys.
Earn Tokens by Playing the Game
According to a spokesperson from Hamster Kombat who talked with Cointelegraph, the airdrop eligibility will be contingent upon the following: the game cycle, community interactions, general social engagement, and the quality of the invited players:
“More players within the game will lead to higher capitalization and, consequently, larger rewards for everyone. The upcoming HMSTR airdrop is set to be the largest in crypto history. And we don’t have any venture capital investors. The only way to get the token is to play.”
300 Million Players and Counting
The highly anticipated upgrade arrives more than seven days after Hamster Kombat hit 300 million players and hinted at the impending release of the "largest airdrop in the history of crypto."
Web3 adoption by the next billion mainstream users is the end goal of Hamster Kombat.
Onboarding the Next Billion People
A representative from Hamster Kombat spoke with Cointelegraph regarding the game's ultimate objective, saying:
“We want to build the biggest and most tight-knit community and onboard the next billion people into Web3, so we had to show everyone how Web3 actually works. The simplest way to do so is through the game.”
The spokesman went on to say that Hamster Kombat is a fantastic tool for onboarding new Web3 users because of how easily it teaches people to the underlying blockchain technology and coins.
Some people think Telegram could be a game-changer for mainstream onboarding. Case in point: TON Foundation's head of investments, Justin Hyun, has warned that Telegram may serve as a "Trojan horse" to trick more people into using blockchain technology.
There is a lack of information regarding tokenomics, while it is known that players would receive 60% of the HMSTR token airdrop volume.
However, according to CoinGecko, the most valuable crypto airdrop to date was Uniswap's, which distributed approximately $6.43 billion. Therefore, planning the greatest airdrop in crypto history could prove to be a hard task.
Hamster Kombat may be heading for a Guinness World Record after setting the record for the quickest product to 100 million users in just two months, which was achieved even before the airdrop.
