“The Shib” magazine has released its 25th edition, maintaining its legacy of highlighting the vibrant Shiba Inu (SHIB) community and its pioneering projects. This issue celebrates the Shiba spirit as a lead-up to the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, set for August 2024.
K9 Finance DAO Hackathon to Highlight Blockchain Futurist Conference
One of the standout parts of this "The Shib" edition is a detailed discussion of the K9 Finance DAO hackathon. As a result, Buzz, the pseudonymous founder of K9 Finance, shared unprecedented insights into the rationale for conducting this innovative event, as per Coingape. “The DAO mission for K9 is to bring DeFi to Shibarium, and an excellent way to do this is to incentivize developers with a bounty to build products on Shibarium,” Buzz explained.
Furthermore, the hackathon, which will be a highlight of the Blockchain Futurist Conference, intends to bring builders and developers into the Shibarium ecosystem and inspire them to develop beneficial products that interact with K9's offers. In addition to the hackathon, the magazine highlights the activities of CryptoQueen, a key speaker at the conference who will represent the Shib Army.
Another intriguing feature of this edition is the collaboration with Tangem, an initiative that acknowledges Shiba Inu's role in growing Bitcoin usage. Furthermore, Tangem's endorsement demonstrates Shiba Inu's growing impact and legitimacy in the cryptocurrency sector, cementing its place as a prominent player.
In addition, the magazine introduces ShiBulls, a Shibarium-based NFT collection with a unique staking protocol. As the Shib Army awaits the next step of the ShiBulls roadmap, the excitement around this initiative reflects the community's desire for creative NFT ventures.
Shiba Inu Sponsorship Boosts Blockchain Futurist Conference Success
The 25th edition reflects Shiba Inu's spectacular rise and prior victories at important contests. Shiba Inu transformed last year's Toronto conference into an innovative festival. It gathered large audiences and set social media ablaze. As a result, this year's Blockchain Futurist Conference is projected to be even more successful, with Shiba Inu attending and serving as a significant sponsor.
“We’re thrilled about Tutti Frutti Women’s partnership with the Blockchain Futurist Conference, especially with Shiba Inu sponsoring the event for the second year,” said Andreia, the founder of Tutti Frutti Women (TFW). TFW is a project advocating for cancer awareness and women in blockchain. The TFW founder added, “It feels like we’re all part of the same family.”
Furthermore, the magazine presents Shibacals, a project that transforms digital identities into concrete realities through exceptional craftsmanship. "At the main Shiba Inu booth, you can find an incredible assortment of toys and physicals, representing some of Shiba Inu's most influential projects," Sentinel, co-founder of Shibacals, stated.
This program intends to unite various communities in the Shib ecosystem by creating IRL representations of their businesses.
