Harry Shum Jr., who plays Magnus Bane, the High Warlock of Brooklyn, has tweeted a picture of himself with the description saying that the sneak peek is for the filming of the "Shadowhunters" season 3 finale.

The official “Shadowhunters” Twitter account has also posted a “behind-the-scenes” snapshot of who appears to be Alberto Rosende, who plays Simon Lewis, Clary's best friend who eventually becomes a part of the team.

The official Twitter account, unlike Harry Shum Jr., does not specify whether the snapshot is for the season finale or simply a part of the current production for “Shadowhunters” season 3.
Shadowhunters was recently canceled by Freeform mid-season as it lost its output deal with Netflix.
The third season of “Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments” first aired last March 20. The third season followed the season 2 formula of splitting the 20-episode seasons into two batches of releases. In what may have been signs of the potential cancellation of “Shadowhunters,” season 3's release was pushed back to March rather than following the January release of the first two seasons.
The second half of “Shadowhunters” season 3 will now be set to air sometime in 2019. The following episodes were originally an additional 10 episode order from Freeform. But with the series' mid-season 3 cancellation, Freeform has ordered the final addition of a series finale to wrap up the show.
Other series have gotten less caring sendoffs after cancellation, such as Universal Picture's 2002 series "Firefly," which only got the spectacular wrap-up for its fan base through the 2005 film "Serenity." The series had been canceled in 2003.
While the end of the series has finally been confirmed by the ordering of the series finale, fans of the teen supernatural drama can be comforted by the fact that the "Shadowhunters" season 3 series finale will be a two-hour special, bringing the second half of season 3 to a total of 22 episodes.
