‘Shadowhunters Season 2, Episode 3 Spoilers: "Parabatai Lost" – Jace Becomes Wolf Pack Target; Raphael Pressures Simon in Search for Camille

‘Shadowhunters’ season 2’s episode 3, titled "Parabatai Lost," is set to follow Jace as he becomes the target of a wolf pack in addition to being hunted down by Aldertree and the Institute. Meanwhile, Raphael pressures Simon in his search for Camille.

The brief synopsis for “Parabatai Lost” posted on TV Guide reads, “Jace (Dominic Sherwood) is targeted by the New York wolf pack while he continues to be pursued by other Shadowhunters. Meanwhile, Simon (Alberto Rosende) desperately searches for Camille (Kaitlyn Lee).”

It seems that Jace’s situation will get even worse as he becomes the target of a wolf pack that believes him to be a killer. In addition to the new predators, Aldertree (Nick Sagar) and the Shadowhunters continue their own hunt for him as well. In the midst of it all, he must find a way to secure his own safety.

Meanwhile, Simon is also on a desperate hunt of his own after Raphael (David Castro) puts him under extreme pressure to find Camille as soon as possible. Simon and Raphael’s story arc continue to heighten as the episodes roll by.

During an interview with International Business Times, Castro revealed that his character will interact more with Rosende’s Simon in season 2. He said, “I like Alberto’s role... I find him hilarious… Because Simon is now a vampire, I do have a lot of interaction with him. We have scenes together and it’s a lot of fun.” 

Castro admitted that he never thought about Raphael being a vampire since he pictured him to be a werewolf. He said, “Never, never thought I’d be a vampire but I am and I’m so happy about it.”

He added, “For my character this season there are a lot of relationships that are formed but I can’t say too much. He definitely interacts a lot more with the main cast, the regulars on the show, with everybody... There’s a lot more actions, it’s going to be a lot of fun, I can’t wait for the fans to watch it, they’re going to fall in love with it, it’s going to blow them away.”

Castro teased a bit about Simon’s direction in the new season saying, “I see him discovering more of his abilities, getting used to his strength and being able to control it. There’s a lot of new stuff in store for him... I can’t say too much.” 

‘Shadowhunters’ season 2’s episode 3, titled "Parabatai Lost," is scheduled to air on Freeform on January 16, 2017. It will be followed by episode 4, titled "Day of Wrath," scheduled for January 23.
