“The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 was officially renewed, and this is good news for the anime’s followers as it has been on hiatus for a year already. The long wait may worth it because it was reported that Netflix had ordered more than 20 episodes again, so it means a longer time to watch the new season.
The anime’s renewal news
The Cinemaholic reported that “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 has been given the green light, and it was actually already announced a long time ago. It was revealed that in the “Nanatsu no Taizai” manga series’ chapter 310, the renewal for the fourth season was announced, and some fans may have missed this detail.
It was added that even the official title for “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 had been posted already and it will be called “The Seven Lethal Sins: Wrath of the Gods.” but then again, fans should brace themselves because this will be the penultimate installment which means that the anime series is scheduled to end in the fifth season.
The main reason for the ending is because the manga has already concluded in July. There is no more story to continue the saga of the “Seven Deadly Sins.”
What the story will be in “The Seven Lethal Sins: Wrath of the Gods?”
“The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 will continue with Princess Elizabeth doing her best to make her kingdom peaceful again. Her homeland has been in chaos for a long time, and everyone longs for peace to reign in their territory. The princess will get help from the holy knights so she can attain her goal. Will they finally get the harmony that they sought for years?
In any case, the official synopsis for the “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 reads: “The story picks up 10 years after a group of Holy Knights staged a coup against the King of Liones, which led to Princess Elizabeth embarking on a mission to seek out the very knights, The Seven Deadly Sins, who had been on the run for the past 1000 years.” Also, “With their help, Elizabeth believes she can restore peace and prosperity back to her kingdom.”
Finally, as per the report, “The Seven Deadly Sins,” season 4 was released on Oct. 9 in Japan, and it will arrive on Netflix in 2020.
