December 4, 2017 – Seaborn Networks (“Seaborn”), a leading developer-owner-operator of subsea fiber optic cable systems, announced today the addition of Chris Eldredge and Pete Hayes to the board of directors of Seabras Group, LLC (“Seabras”), and Wilson Otero and Kris Alexander to the board of advisors of Seaborn.

Seabras is the underlying owner of Seabras-1 between New York—São Paulo, with sales of certain fiber pairs, spectrum and lit capacity made to Seabras customers (as IRUs or leases). Seabras is co-owned by Seaborn and Partners Group (a global private markets investment manager with USD 66 billion in assets under management) on behalf of its clients. Seaborn provides all Operations and SG&A for Seabras.
Chris Eldredge was President, CEO and Director of DuPont Fabros Technology, which was recently sold to Digital Realty at a record multiple. Previously, he was Executive Vice President, Data Center Services & Global Solutions of NTT America.
Pete Hayes is CEO of Middleburg Venture Partners. He previously served as Chief Sales Officer at Equinix. Before that, he was Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales & Support at Frontier Communications. He began his career with Microsoft, holding a variety of senior roles including VP, US & EMEA Public Sector.
Wilson Otero is an executive officer (Superintendente) of Desenvolve SP, the São Paulo State Development Agency. He previously served as CEO of Datora Telecom and held numerous executive positions in Brazil at British Telecom, Concert (AT&T-BT joint venture) and AT&T.
Kris Alexander has served as Chief Strategist for IoT, Connected Devices & Gaming at Akamai Technologies, where he has worked for more than 13 years. He built and grew numerous business at Akamai, including the Media Delivery, Gaming and IOT businesses. He previously led product marketing at Genuity.
