If you are thinking that Scotland Independence issue is dealt last referendum, you are totally wrong. This is one ghost of the past, that is very unlikely to disappear any time soon, instead will keep haunting UK, its politicians and Pound over and over again.
We said at the time this issue will keep haunting as margin of win to stay in UK was relatively small.
- Nicola Sturgeon, the leader of the Scottish National Party, has said her party will not rule out a second referendum on independence if it wins next year's Scottish elections and if there are evidences that people have changed their mind.
- According to Ms. Sturgeon, Britain will breach terms of Scottish independence referendum if UK finally chooses to move out of European Union, which would make a second referendum inevitable.
Though she said that she will not insist for another referendum, unless there are strong evidence that those who voted to stay in UK have changed their minds, it is more likely at some point in coming future demand for more autonomy over fiscal issues would go up if Scottish National Party wins election next year, which is more likely than not, since they have won almost all the seats in last parliamentary election in UK. However unable to meet demand will eventually lead to another referendum.
