“Santa Clarita Diet” season 3 is on its way to Netflix and because it will be released via the streaming site, then it is sure to offer a total of 10 episodes for this run. The production of the show began right away after the renewal has been confirmed thus filming was able to wrap up early.
With the “Santa Clarita Diet” season 3 already done filming and post-production works are done as well, Netflix released teases the viewers with what to expect in the upcoming installment. Early this month, the promo video has been unveiled and after watching it, one can say that the hilarity is totally back. It is interesting at the same time because it showed Sheila’s (Drew Barrymore) renewed appetite for humans as her snack.
Probably, the thing to watch out for is whether Sheila’s husband Joel Timothy Olyphant will turn into a zombie in “Santa Clarita Diet” season 3. This was not shown in the video teaser but they suggested this fact. Perhaps, because he loves Sheila so much, he agreed to become undead?
At any rate, aside from the video, photos from the new episodes were also shared ahead of the premiere and they provided the first look and some spoilers for “Santa Clarita Diet” season 3. As shared on Netflix Life, the first image shows Joel and Shelia carrying some trash bags but its contents are for the viewers to see only when the comedy show returns.
There is also a snap where the husband and wife were staring at a dead body in their hallway and his identity is still a mystery for now. In the third photo, Joel seems to be in a panic after someone appeared at the Hammonds door but it is not clear if this is a new zombie or it is just Paul (Zachary Knighton), the person who has been tailing the Hammonds since the second season. Now, there could be a new zombie and it could be Joel or the person that appeared at the Hammond’s residence.
“Santa Clarita Diet” season 3 is coming this March 29 on Netflix. Don’t miss it!
