SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 26, 2017 -- Sack Lunch Productions, Inc. (OTCMKTS:SAKL) announced today that The Lantern Fest® has sold out its November 4th St. Louis event at Brookdale Farms in Eureka, Missouri.
As a result of the success that The Lantern Fest® is experiencing, it has worked with several of its venues to increase capacity to meet the high demand for the experience The Lantern Fest® offers. The result has doubled capacities in certain markets by opening a 2nd day.
Richard Surber, CEO, commented, “To highlight the financial impact opening a 2nd day has had on our business, I really take pride in pointing to our Poconos event that The Lantern Fest® recently hosted, that was the single largest event in our history. Attendance exceeded 25,000 participants for the 2 days. We filled every hotel and motel for miles around. The economic impact we had on Poconos and the surrounding area was significant.”
The trend in opening 2 day events continues with Austin, Phoenix and now St. Louis. All have opened up a second day to accommodate demand. All of these venues have either sold out the first day or on the verge of selling out.
The commitment of Lantern Fest® to conduct its events at venues that will accommodate larger attendance and provide space for an exceptional event is part of our plans through 2018. We are committed to conducting our The Lantern Fest® events with respect for the environment and the communities that are gracious enough to host us, all while maintaining the special nature of these lantern launches.
