Adidas unveiled the Dame 8 basketball shoe that boasts inspiration from Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard’s relentless training routine and boxing mentality in four colorways.
The one in Bold Purple and Electric Yellow would hit the market on Dec. 19 for $120 per pair.
The remaining three Dame 8 in the Grey and Teal version; the Cloud White, Core Black, and Vivid Red variant; and the Teal and Magenta are set to release in early 2022.
They are also priced at $120.
According to Adidas, the Dame 8 has a lightweight Bounce Pro midsole for a light and soft underfoot and unique traction to make all speeds feel effortless.
The shoe is special to Lillard as it reflects a boxer’s mindset, which means working hard every day, putting in extra hours during training, and bringing the heat right up to the last second of each game.
