“Rick and Morty” season 4 is surely coming back as Adult Swim already confirmed this as well. With the premiere date just around the corner, more details about the series have been released and below are the confirmed info to know before episode 1 airs.
The announcement of release date
After waiting for a long time, fans got good news from Adult Swim when it finally revealed a release date for “Rick and Morty” season 4. In May, the studio announced when the fourth season is coming out by posting a short clip featuring Rick and Morty. Although they stated that November is “Rick and Morty” season 4’s official debut, they did not mention an exact day; thus this is something to watch out for in the coming days.
Upcoming guest stars
In their interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland revealed the list of guest stars that they have for “Rick and Morty” season 4, and it includes Taika Waititi, Chris Parnell, Sarah Chalke, Kathleen Turner, Paul Giamatti, and Sam Neil. There were talks about Kanye West’s guesting and the music producer also expressed interest to be in the show, but the show creators revealed that he is not on the list.
“We’re trying to schedule something. It’s not going to be for this batch coming up,” Roiland said. “But we love the idea of doing something with him. It’s just a discussion of what exactly that is, and then sitting down and talking with him. We need to sit down and chat about it.”
Plot and episodes
“Rick and Morty” season 4 will offer 10 episodes, and the story will center on Jerry and Beth Smith’s family. It was mentioned that despite their separation in the previous seasons, they will be reunited and the whole family will be back together. There are not many details but Rick could be on another trip and would be visiting “paradise” based on the teaser.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that the air date in the U.K. will be one day delayed. This means that after “Rick and Morty” season 4 debuts in the U.S., it will be shown in Europe the next day. The best prediction for the exact day of its premiere is Nov. 16.
